This display was the work of Carson Williams, a Mason, Ohio, electrical engineer who spent about three hours sequencing the 88 Light-O-Rama channels that controlled the 16,000 Christmas lights in his annual holiday lighting spectacular (from Christmas 2004). His 2005 display includes over 25,000 lights that he spent nearly two months and $10,000 to hook up. So that the Williams' neighbors aren't disturbed by constant noise, viewers driving by the house are informed by signs to tune in to a signal broadcast over a low-power FM radio station to hear the musical accompaniment.

The rough quality of the video has led some viewers to believe it was put together in stop-action form from still photographs, but that is an artifact of the high compression used in the clip circulated via e-mail. Mr. Williams has posted instructions for recreating his "Wizard in Winter" sequencing, and another of his choreographed Christmas light music shows can be viewed here (YouTube).

Carson's Christmas display proved so popular that it was featured in a Miller Lite beer commercial in December 2005.

Why isn't thier a revolution in San Diego yet?

Today i had a fire to go and preach the good news to people.

I had a fire to give my lunch to a homeless person.

I had a fire to speak some good news into somebody life.

To tell them about the most amazing thing.

TO let them in on a happy, pure, joyful way of living.

To let them know that if no one loves you, their is sombody who died for you.

Somebody who sole purpose in life is to give you a future and a hope.

Somebody who will always be their for you.

Making you smiling, and sometimes convicting you. (but hey thats what all the great friends do)

I went to the park looking for a homeless person, to give lunch to. No homelesss person.

Went to the library to find someone around thier and pray for them. Their was no body.

I called my sister to spread the fire and maybe she had some ideas. THier was no answer.

I went drove by the liquor store to see my friends who works their to witness to him. He wasn't working today.

Some days we just have to try harder then others.

But this is how our every days should be. Having this fire. My EVERY

days should be. Not just a spark that flew into my heart one day. As i

was praying i felt like God was like " ya good job, praying for your

country. Now lets do something about it". I don't know where, or how to start.

Ya no sometimes i wish that i was rich. Cause then i would be in uganda right now.

But God revelaed something to me. We don't need to be rich to help

others. We need to find the time and make it our priority. Cause thier is

homeless shelters all across california. Their is our own people getting

abused here in san diego. We just have to start.

God is so good: I don't need to be in Africa to be i missionary. I have to

start here.
